    The new edition of the AAMV Newsletter for March 2017 is now available to download in the members-only section of the website.

    We welcome any and all feedback that you have about our newsletter. If you have thoughts about topics/themes you'd like to see covered, issues addressed, or institutions or programs spotlighted please don't hesitate to let us know.

    Also, we welcome all submissions to our Newsletter: If you would like to contribute an article (750-1000 words) to the newsletter about your volunteer program, a particular initiative you've undertaken, or a volunteer you'd like to highlight do not hesitate to contact us here on the forum or by e-mail to our newsletter editors: daraujo@exploratorium.edu (Deirdre) and emknight71@gmail.com (Emily).

    Thanks to Emily and Deirdre for putting together the newsletter!

    I found Jenny's article about making  internships a priority especially interesting. I thought her measured but persistent way of bringing up the issue whenever it seemed relevant  and advocating how solving the problem of unpaid interns can help the museum solve other problems was particularly important. Take a look at the article and share how you think we can continue to address this problem, or how your museum has made a change!
