    Manager, Volunteer Programs

    Reporting to the Director, Annual Membership Programs and Operations, the Manager, Volunteer Programs, is responsible for the management and support of the Museum’s Volunteer program. This role oversees a vital area of the Museum’s work: engaging Volunteers to facilitate meaningful encounters at the Museum for a broad and diverse public.  In support of the Museum’s Strategic Plan and Commitments, the Manager leads the Volunteer programming in an effort to connect all visitors—of all ages and backgrounds—with art and the Museum. They are responsible for managing Volunteer training and programming, building strong internal culture and working relationships, recruiting and retaining a diverse and dedicated team of Volunteers, and evaluating the Volunteer program against benchmarks for success. In conjunction with a cross-departmental team of staff colleagues and Volunteer leaders, the Manager leads the strategy to grow, diversify, and fortify all MFA Volunteers, in alignment with the Museum’s values and commitments of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA). This role is hybrid eligible and may require some evening, weekend, and holiday work.

    Schedule and Wage: Full-Time Salary, 35 Hours per Week 

    Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
